Bio

With ten years of academic and clinical training, I bring a solid foundation of psychological knowledge and therapeutic experience to my work.

I first trained in Clinical Psychology, followed by a specialisation in Gestalt Psychotherapy. I am a registered member of both the BACP and the UKCP.

Therapy, for me, is a process of growth and self-discovery. My approach is warm and empathic because, before anything else, I want my clients to feel safe, understood, and supported.

“Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.” – Jean-Paul Sartre

I’ve seen many people transform their lives through greater self-understanding – and this is what keeps me passionate about therapy. I believe deeply in our natural ability to adapt and survive. Yet sometimes, these adaptations, once helpful, can become limiting, keeping us stuck in old patterns. My role is to walk beside you as we untangle thoughts and feelings, helping you regain a sense of freedom, awareness, and choice.

My main clinical approach is Gestalt Psychotherapy, a holistic and experiential method that focuses on the present moment and the connection between thoughts, emotions, and body. Together, we bring awareness to how you experience and make sense of your world, exploring patterns that may be keeping you from living fully. Through this process, you can uncover new ways of being that support authenticity, self-acceptance, and meaningful change.

Beyond my private practice, I used to work within the NHS Talking Therapies and Forensic Psychology Services, supporting individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, infertility, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, amongst other issues. These experiences continually deepen my understanding of the many ways people seek to make sense of their lives and adapt to unpredictable changes.

If my approach resonates with you, I would be glad to offer an initial conversation to explore how therapy might support you at this moment in your life. We can use your first scheduled session for this.

The sessions I offer are currently held online. Once you confirm the booking, I will create a unique Zoom meeting URL, which you will receive separately by email within less than 24h of your booking.
