I greatly value my work as a person-centred psychotherapist and the many clients I have encountered since starting out in practice back in 2014. As an experienced psychotherapist and a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), I abide by their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice; the UKCP sets the ethical standards for psychotherapists working in the UK.
Over the years, I have worked with clients in short-term, medium-term and long-term therapy. I’ve been privileged to work with many clients of differing ages, genders, sexualities (or none), ethnicities, abilities/disabilities, nationalities and social-cultural backgrounds as well as those who hold religious beliefs or no belief. I have extensive experience of working with LGBTQIA+ clients in person-centred therapy.
Overall, I have strong experience in facilitating therapy relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds; sitting with and supporting them in their struggles, moments of sadness, frustration, anger, hope, joy and growth
