I’m a UKCP-registered Person-Centred psychotherapist with a private practice in Clapham, South London. Before training at Metanoia, I had a full career in journalism and the financial sector. I trained part-time alongside full-time work, so I have a fairly clear-eyed sense of what that particular balancing act costs.
My clinical work spans individual therapy in private practice, EAP work with corporate employees and young people, and community settings supporting people with complex presentations including serious mental illness. I work with adults across a wide range of backgrounds and presentations, and I’m particularly interested in relational dynamics, shame, identity, and the psychological impact of living outside social norms.
I work relationally and take the therapeutic relationship seriously, which means trainee work, with all its intensity and complexity, is something I find genuinely engaging rather than something I merely tolerate.
If you’re in training and looking for a therapist who isn’t going to be thrown by the process, feel free to get in touch.
