As a counsellor and psychotherapist, based near the Hampshire border in Farnham, Surrey, I use my experience to help you cope better with life’s challenges and issues. We live in particularly difficult and uncertain times – I can support you with this.
I offer a non-judgemental, confidential space where, together, we can explore the challenges you face. Some facts of our lives cannot be changed – having happened already or, for example, illness or impending loss. As your therapist, I aim to offer you the relationship and support you need to reflect on, and be more able to cope with difficult life events. I believe therapy includes developing a deeper understanding of ourselves in the context of past and present experiences, environment and choices. I also believe we all have an innate ability to heal and that therapy can help to remove obstacles in our path – helping us shift from a life where we merely survive to one in which we develop an intention to thrive, despite life’s challenges.
As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I have worked with clients and helped them to overcome a wide range of difficulties. My background as a solicitor helps me to support senior leaders, executives and professionals suffering from anxiety, stress, burn-out, imposter syndrome and other challenges. This is a cornerstone of my practice, as is supporting people who are neurodivergent (ASD/ASC, ADHD and sensory processing differences). I am used to supporting trainees through their psychotherapy training and also have extensive experience of working with survivors of sexual violence and trauma. I am an accredited member of the Foundation for Infant Loss Training and have helped clients with a broad range of other specialist topics.
I work in person from my comfortable and welcoming therapy room at home, and online. My therapy room has disabled access and off-street parking. If it would be helpful for me to adjust the space in any way to support your needs, please let me know so that we can discuss this.
