At Metanoia Institute, we offer two BACP-accredited counsellor training routes – one in Person-Centred Pluralistic counselling and the other in Humanistic counselling. Both trainings will provide you with a BSc degree accredited by BACP from Middlesex, equipping you to work as a professionally trained counsellor in a range of practice settings.
The Certificate in Therapeutic Skills and Studies will introduce you to counselling theory and support you in developing foundational counselling skills that are required prior to commencing further therapeutic training. The certificate is a stand-alone basic skills award issued by Metanoia Institute. Although completion of the Certificate in Therapeutic Skills and Studies does not guarantee acceptance on a professional training programme, an introductory skills therapeutic skills course is a pre-requisite for starting professional study.
