πŸŽ₯ Writing to Heal: New Video Series Brings MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes to Life

What does it mean to write for healing, growth and connection? A new video series from Metanoia Institute explores exactly that – through the voices of those who know it best.

We’re proud to launch Writing to Heal – a new video playlist featuring students and alumni of the MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes.

In this powerful series, contributors reflect on what drew them to the course, how it has shaped their personal and professional lives, and what it means to use writing as a therapeutic and transformative tool.

Each short video offers a unique, heartfelt perspective – from breakthroughs in creative confidence to the deepening of therapeutic practice; from quiet moments of self-discovery to the joy of writing in community.

The MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes is a part-time programme that explores the rich intersection between creative writing, personal narrative and therapeutic practice. Rooted in humanistic and person-centred values, the course invites students to explore the healing power of words through both experiential and academic learning.

Writing to Heal offers a window into that experience – bringing the course to life through real voices and real stories.
