I am experienced TA Psychotherapist (CTA) and have worked across therapeutic, mental health and wellbeing roles for the past 13 years. I specialize in working relationally: supporting individuals better understand the way they relate with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.
I work in a way that is relational, empathic and non-judgmental. I also believe that authenticity in the relationship involves gentle challenge, and that honest feedback can evoke meaningful change. Therefore empathy and challenge are at the heart of the therapy. We can also explore the connection between body and mind, and use creativity as a way to access feelings that are harder to reach.
Some of the areas I have deep expertise in include: Relationships, Anxiety, LGBTQ+ identity, Sexuality, Intimacy, Shame, Spirituality, Family, Friendships, Depression, Stress, Trauma, Abuse, Belonging, Difficult emotions, Anger, Mental health diagnoses, Self-confidence, Work or studies, and Life decisions.
Having worked in higher education institutes for the past 5 years alongside running my private practice, I am also particularly interested in working with therapists in training. I am also a supervisor.
