Metanoia's Counselling and Psychotherapy Service

What Happens Next?

Once we receive contact from you one of our reception team will get in touch to tell you a bit about our service and see if you’d like to book in for an assessment session. We can normally book you in for an assessment within the next three weeks.

Assessment sessions last 50 minutes and are a chance for you to let us know what is bringing you to therapy and for us to ensure that we are the right service for you.

Following the assessment, if you would like to continue in therapy with us and we feel that we are the right service for you, then your assessor will check with you about your availability and select a suitable therapist for you.

The assessor will organise your first session (usually within two weeks of the assessment) and let you know the date and time. You will then continue with your therapist for weekly sessions for as long as you’d like to, up to a maximum of six months.

You’re welcome to get in touch if you have any questions. You can phone us on 020 8832 3080, or email us at clinic@metanoia.ac.uk.
