This research was a product of collaboration between Metanoia Institute in London and the Primary Care Trust (PCT) in the London Borough in Ealing who funded the project. The research was a routine outcomes evaluation of Transactional Analysis and Integrative Psychotherapies within the primary care setting, using standardised outcome measures (GAD-7,PHQ-9, CORE-10, CORE-34 and BDI-II), Working Alliance Inventory (Horwath, 1986). Adherence to the therapeutic model was monitored using questionnaires developed at Metanoia Institute. The research outcomes suggested that Transactional Analysis and Integrative counselling/brief psychotherapy were effective as treatments within the primary care. Experience of using the methodology of Routine Outcomes Evaluation (ROU) was used to develop the in house clinic at Metanoia Institute, into research clinic.
