Peppie Mincheva is a MBACP registered counsellor who works with children, adolescents and young people in schools, colleges and private practice. She holds MA and PG Dip in Counselling Children and Young People and PG Cert in the evidence based approach Counselling for Depression and CBT for anxiety. Peppie's first steps in counselling as a trainee (2012) and qualified integrative CYP counsellor (2014) were in primary schools where she worked therapeutically with pupils through play and media such as sand tray, puppets, art & music. For the last six years she has been facilitating students' emotional well-being and mental health through 1:1 talking therapy based in secondary schools and sixth form colleges.

Over a decade of extensive training, personal therapy for developing self-awareness, CPD and counselling work experience with children and young people, Peppie's work passion has grown bigger and she loves what she does. She believes in clients' actualising tendency and their ability to bring about change when safe space, empathy and holding therapeutic relationship are present. In her practice she draws primarily on Person-Centered Experiential Emotion Focused approaches to psychotherapy.
