FREE Online Introductory Workshop Morning on Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes (CWTP)

Are you curious about therapeutic writing? Would you like to learn about this practice and support others with writing to explore their life experience?

This online workshop and presentation will provide participants with the opportunity to understand CWTP in context and practice.

Participants will be invited to engage in creative writing exercises and also to respond to their experience in plenary sessions with peers and tutors.

Information will be provided to contextualise the field of Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes and how it is developing within national (UK) arts and health directives.

Attending this FREE introductory workshop morning is recommended for students who are considering applying for the MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes; it is also open to writers and practitioners, particularly but not exclusively in the healthcare or caring professions, who are curious about the field.

Facilitated by Fiona Hamilton (Programme Leader) and Graham Hartill (Tutor)

Participants welcome: writers, therapists, healthcare workers, social care workers, literary and psychology graduates, professionals with an interest in narrative practice and exploration, anyone with an interest in creative writing for therapeutic purposes
