Therapy with a Difference
Creating Research-Inspired and Research-Informed Practice!
*** Please note the change from in-person attendance to online attendance ******
ONLINE, 8th March 2024
In the Research Academy 2024, we will present Methodology Seminars and Research Papers with a focus on Creating Research-Inspired and Research-Informed Practice. The seminar and paper presentations will address how research into counselling, psychotherapy, and counselling psychology can, and has, led to a more skilled and knowledgeable practice. We will provide a platform to discuss practice and research-related concerns from qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods and/or pluralistic research angles and interests. Overall, the workshops and papers will reflect the diversity of interests in a multidisciplinary profession like psychotherapy. Embracing the value of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches, the Research Academy 2024 supports research from sometimes contrasting epistemological positionings.
