Academic Lecturer - Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy (September Start)
The Metanoia Institute offers a range of taught psychotherapy and counselling programmes. The Institute wishes to appoint a number of academic tutors to teach across modalities and can contribute to teaching on their undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. The people appointed must be professionally accredited psychotherapists and/or counsellors and be experienced tutors within their field.
They will be expected to contribute to the delivery of high- quality educational experiences for all students and to have a thorough knowledge of theory, curriculum development, and quality assurance procedures. A record of conference presentations and publication or evidence of the potential to develop in this area is essential.
These are part-time permanent appointments, and the Institute is looking for academics who wish to maintain client involvement in private practice while undertaking this role.
Vacancies exist for the following programmes:
MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy – A full transactional Analysis psychotherapy training, which specialising in a relational approach to Berne’s integrative theory. Applicants must hold relevant TA qualifications, namely they must be either a Provisional (PTSTA) or a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) This course runs one weekend a month over 10 months of the year.
