Quality and Standards
Metanoia Institute values its long-standing reputation for providing training of outstanding relevance and quality. Our Vision and Mission statements are both grounded in a clear sense of identity and purpose which, since our establishment in the early 1980s, has been to offer professional Humanistic and Integrative counselling, psychotherapy and counselling psychology practitioner training.
The Institute has a strong foundation in its quality of teaching that started originally with certificates and diplomas, through to undergraduate and post-graduate degrees and over the last twenty years the development of professional doctorates.
Enhancing the student experience has always been a high priority and the Institute has developed this strategy from a perspective that seeks to recognise and share good practice. Teaching and the development of subject specific skills and abilities, combined with a critical evaluation of the social and cultural conditions and the demands of the professional bodies have influenced the unique programme offerings within the Institute.
Metanoia Institute has undergone an educational oversight monitoring visit by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and have received its final report, which is available in full at: www.qaa.ac.uk/reviews-and-reports/provider?UKPRN=10004320.
