Amanda Stewart-Harries
Director of Studies PGCertHE in Counselling and Psychotherapy
Amanda Stewart-Harries is the Director of Studies and Primary tutor on the PGCertHE in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Amanda trained in the Clarkson model of Integrative Psychotherapy and did postgraduate Jungian supervision training at The Society for Analytical Psychology (SAP). She has delivered counselling training programmes at all levels on college and university courses, and is particularly interested in how the psychological therapies are taught. Before retraining as a therapist, Amanda was a Senior Lecturer in Academic Literacies at Middlesex University and has many years of classroom experience, including teaching in Germany, Japan and China.
She currently divides her time between her roles as Staff and Student Counsellor at St George's University of London, private practice, the creation and delivery of CPD workshops and Metanoia teacher training.
