Dr Malgorzata Milewicz is a UKCP registered Integrative Psychotherapist with MSc in Social Clinical Psychology; Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy; Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy.
Malgorzata has worked within multidisciplinary teams in secure mental health hospitals, in voluntary organisations serving diverse and sociopolitically disadvantaged communities, and in private practice. For the last five years, she worked at Metanoia Institute as a Clinical Development Officer conducting clinical assessments for the Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Service (MCPS) and co-ordinating placements for candidates and students.
In private practice, Malgorzata works with individual adult clients. Her main clinical interests include working with people presenting with relational difficulties and histories of developmental trauma; the impact of trauma on the body; anti-oppressive practice and working with the sociopolitical context. From the research perspective, Malgorzata is interested in working with political material within clinical sessions.
Malgorzata also teaches on the Integrative Psychotherapy programme at Metanoia Institute.
