Chnanis is a counsellor and integrative psychotherapist. She is a Registered Clinical Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and an Accredited Professional Member of The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). She trained in Psychotherapeutic Counselling at The National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, and she graduated with a Doctorate in Health from the University of Bath, where she researched psychotherapeutic intervention for mental health and well-being enhancement.  

In her private practice, Chnanis works with adults of all ages. She has many years of experience working with NHS staff and healthcare professionals who experienced high stress and pressure. She provides therapy to support people with various psychological and emotional conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD and traumas. She utilises integrated approaches in her therapeutic work, which include person-centred counselling, psychotherapy, CBT-based practice, visualisation, and mindfulness. She also trained in trauma-informed yoga, which works in particular with mind-body connection for people who have experienced traumas.  

Chnanis’s research interests include positive mental health and well-being, mind-body connection, psychosomatic and holistic health, online therapy, and therapeutic relationships. She is passionate about supporting people not only to overcome issues or illnesses but also to obtain a well-balanced lifestyle and holistic wellness, which can sustain physical and mental well-being for people in the long term.
