Rhianna Broadway
Rhianna has over 12 years’ experience working within academic research both in higher education and NHS settings where primarily she has worked with academic, clinical and student researchers to develop and deliver their own research. Rhianna established the first mental health public patient involvement group in Norfolk and Suffolk where service users and carers of mental health services were enabled to carry out their own research with relevant researchers in the field. The output from one of these projects has led to national and international adoption of the tool that was validated. Rhianna is an editor of the Research Involvement and Engagement Journal and has presented posters at several national research conferences. Rhianna is a person-centred counsellor and trainer, teaching at Post Graduate level for the last few years and currently practising privately with adults and with Perinatal clients at her local NHS mental health trust. She is also a Trustee for the Person Centred Association and currently holds the post of Secretary.
