Rachel is an Academic Lecturer and Primary Tutor and has been an educator for over 25 years. Rachel is passionate about relational clinical work and continues to have a busy private practice in the New Forest, Hampshire. She trained in Relational TA at Metanoia and is proud to have been the first student to receive her CTA through the Metanoia in-house examination process! Rachel is committed to lifelong learning and development and enjoys playing with new psychotherapeutic ideas; she is a published academic author and is trying to find the time for more academic writing.
Rachel works within an integrative framework that goes back to the psychoanalytic roots of TA. Her speciality is in working with relationships of all kinds: individuals with relationship problems (with others or self), couples, families, and groups. She strives to use her humanity, humour and authentic self in her work and particularly enjoys inspiring trainees and other psychotherapists to work ethically, professionally and relationally.
