Biography:

Following on from his first career as an actor, Kieran became a graduate of Metanoia Institute, with a diploma and degree in person centred counselling.

Kieran currently runs a private practice from his home in North London and works as a freelance supervisor, trainer and group facilitator.

He is an accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor with UKAHPP and UKCP registered

He is also a senior accredited counsellor and supervisor with BACP.

 

Since graduating in 1996, he began working in palliative care, counselling people with HIV/AIDS and then established a bereavement counselling service for Marie Curie Cancer Care. He went on to specialise in addictions and dual diagnosis. Working with various substance misuse organisations.

He has also worked as a consultant, counsellor and group worker for the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force.

He has worked a supervisor for many counselling organisations including; Metropolitan Police, Turning Point and MIND.

 

He is an assessor and supervisor for the Counselling for Depression programme at the Metanoia Institute.

Kieran holds a BA (Hons) in Counselling, a certificate in Person Centred Supervision and a Diploma in Dramatic Art.
