Bethan Richardson
FdA, BA (Hons), AKC, MBACP. Following a degree in War Studies from King’s College London and five years in the reserve forces, Bethan worked in the NHS and voluntary sector in Liverpool. Returning to her native South Wales, she trained as a Person-Centred counsellor and has worked in a range of contexts since qualifying. These include the NHS, the voluntary sector and in private practice. She has particular interests in trauma and abuse and has worked in specialist contexts with survivors of childhood abuse, domestic abuse and human trafficking. She currently works as a counsellor for students at the University of South Wales, for a homelessness charity with homeless clients and ex-offenders, and runs a small private practice.
