Barbara has worked in the field of counselling and psychotherapy for many years.  She set up a counselling service when asked to so by a local school.  She worked with young people and adults, both individually and in groups, together with some members of the local community.  She ran it for more than ten years and this included delivering training programmes and workshops as well as working with outside agencies.

 Alongside this she developed a thriving private practice in North London in which she works today as a psychotherapist, counsellor, supervisor and facilitator.  Barbara has a keen interest in relational issues and trauma. She is also committed to lifelong learning and development.
