Metanoia Institute Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) statement:

Participation in the coming round of TEF (2022/3) is voluntary for institutions with fewer than 500 undergraduate students.  As Metanoia Institute is primarily a postgraduate training institution, we have chosen not to participate voluntarily in the next TEF.  This is because the OfS data used in the TEF assessment is drawn from the undergraduate area only, and therefore does not reflect the majority of our training.  However, we shall continue to participate in conversations and consultations about TEF, using examples of excellence in practice in line with the HE sector.  We anticipate that future rounds will better reflect the range of programmes offered at Metanoia Institute and we look forward to our ongoing involvement with TEF processes.
