Sessional Tutors - MSc Integrative Psychotherapy
About the roles
Metanoia currently has vacancies for sessional primary tutors. These are part-time appointments, and the Institute is looking for academics who wish to maintain client involvement in private practice or other settings while undertaking this role. The people appointed must be professionally accredited or registered UKCP or BACP psychotherapists and/or counsellors and be experienced tutors within their field. They will be expected to contribute to the delivery of high- quality educational experiences for all students and to have a thorough knowledge of theory, curriculum development, and quality assurance procedures.
Staff will only need to be present in London for teaching days (20 days per academic year) and for occasional staff meetings. All appointments are due to start asap.
Who we are
Metanoia Institute is an established charity that provides high-quality education and training in psychological therapies to almost 2000 students in Ealing, London. Founded in 1984, it was one of the first institutions to offer humanistic programs in psychotherapy and counselling in the UK. Since 1994, it has had a collaborative relationship with Middlesex University, and now it is preparing to take overall responsibility for its programs and apply for Degree Awarding Powers.
