We’re growing our team and are inviting expressions of interest from experienced and passionate professionals who are keen to contribute to high-quality psychotherapy and counselling education. Whether you're experienced in Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Person-Centred, or Transactional Analysis approaches, we’d love to hear from you. We currently have a number of part-time posts available, with opportunities ranging from 0.3 to 0.4 FTE across the following specialisms:
• Gestalt: 2 posts
• Humanistic: 2 posts
• Interactive: 2 posts
• Person-Centred: 3 posts
• Transactional Analysis: 2 posts

If you have expertise across more than one area, we are also open to shaping a more tailored teaching role around your skills.

About the Role
As a Lecturer at Metanoia Institute, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding education to future practitioners. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team of academic staff to facilitate learning and development, support student progression, and contribute to the evolution of our programmes.
Teaching takes place primarily face-to-face on scheduled weekends (for all modalities except Humanistic), with Humanistic programmes running face-to-face on alternate Mondays or Tuesdays. Between sessions, you’ll stay connected with students and colleagues remotely throughout the academic year.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for individuals who are not only experts in their field, but also:

Essential:
• UK Master’s level qualification (or equivalent)
• Professional qualification as a counsellor or psychotherapist
• Experience or strong knowledge in one or more of the modalities listed above
• A passion for inclusive education and student support

Desirable:
• PGCertHE or equivalent
• FHEA
• Professional registration (UKCP, BACP, PTSTA, EATA, etc.)
• Teaching experience in HE or psychotherapy education settings
