Transactional Analysis Department
The Transactional Analysis (TA) Department at Metanoia offers professional psychotherapy, counselling and supervision training, all of which lead to full qualification and accreditation with the appropriate national and international bodies (e.g. BACP; UKCP; EATA: EAP). Additionally both our psychotherapy and counselling training are validated by Middlesex University as an MSc degree and a BSc (Hons) degree respectively. Full details of our training courses can be found by following the links in the left hand columns.
In keeping with the many new and exciting trends that have emerged within transactional analysis over the last twenty years, we locate our training within a Relational TA framework which among other things means that we start from the position that therapy is the considered and intentional use of the therapeutic relationship. As such we put particular emphasis and meaning on both the conscious and unconscious, relational dynamics that arise between the practitioner and the client. A fuller description of this approach can be found by clicking on the following: Relational TA.
We also offer a full and varied programme of continuing professional development workshops and other training events. Full details of these can be found in this section of the website (see navigation panel on the left).
