Head of TA Department

Heather Fowlie MA, MSc, TSTA (P)

Heather is a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst, a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and holds the European Certificate in Psychotherapy.She has been practicing as a psychotherapist for over 15 years and has a long involvement at Metanoia, first as a student and then as an assistant tutor, moving in due course to working as a primary tutor and then taking over as Head of Department in 2007. She is passionate about developing the practice and theories of Transactional Analysis, so that they truly reflect a relational way of working, her own approach integrating other models of psychotherapy, especially object relations within a relational approach to Transactional Analysis. She has written several articles about this, which have appeared in a variety of TA journals. She is a founder member of IARTA (International Association of Relational TA).

TA Academic Co-ordinator

Thilisa Hamilton

Thilisa, is the Academic Co-ordinator for the Transactional Analysis course, she works 9am- 5pm Monday to Friday and is the first port of call for information about any of the courses that the TA department run.
