| Description of Practice | I work with clients looking for both long and short term psychotherapy. Many people are basically content with their lives but feel that they have been blown off course by certain events, such as relationship difficulties, loss, career issues, lack of confidence or self esteem. A few sessions of therapy help them to get back on course. Sometimes these initial sessions lead them to feel that longer deeper work will give them something that has been lacking.
Some people sense that they are looking for something that has troubled them for some time and want to make a longer term commitment and work at a deeper level. I have considerable experience working in this way. My work has shown that we often start working on one thing and find that it conects with something else. We are all a complicated jigsaw of interconnecting pieces. It is important to me therefore, to work with the whole person. I have experience in business and a Masters in Creative Writing and know that we have many different facets to our personalities. |
