Criminal Records Policy for Students

Following the election in May 2010, the Government put on hold the new vetting and barring scheme covering those working or volunteering with children or vulnerable adults.

The Institute will comply with any requirements introduced by the Government to ensure that unsuitable people are not recruited to positions of study that involve working with vulnerable people.

As a result, we require students to undergo relevant Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks if they plan to enter a placement within MCPS.
