Membership Categories and Fees
Full Membership
(£40 students, £80 graduates, tutors and supervisors)
Full membership is a requirement for:
- Students undertaking a first training leading to professional registration.
- S
tudents taking a ‘year out’ or a break from a Metanoia training programme. Graduates of Metanoia training programmes who wish to register with UKCP. Tutors on Metanoia training programmes. Full Membership is also open to:
- All graduates of Metanoia training programmes.
- Supervisors of Metanoia students
The Benefits of Full Membership:
- Membership Rates for Workshops and Room Hire Student Placement within the Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Service. Up to two entries in the on-line Referral directory. Library Access. Access to the secure members’ area of the Metanoia website and on-line journals includign PsychINFO, PsychARTICLES, PEPweb and Psychiatry on line.. Registered as a psychotherapist on the Register of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (under certain conditions)
Associate Membership (£80)
Associate Membership is open to Psychotherapists who wish to register with UKCP through Metanoia but have not trained at Metanoia.
The Benefits of Associate Membership:
- Registered as a psychotherapist on the Register of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (under certain conditions)
- Membership Rates for Workshops and Room Hire
- Up to two entries in the on-line Referral directory (an additional fee is charged).
- Library Access.
- Access to the secure members’ area of the Metanoia website and on-line journals.
Affiliate Membership (£80)
Affiliate Membership is Available to:
- BACP accredited counsellors.
- UKCP registered psychotherapists.
- BPS Chartered Psychologists.
- CTA Exam Preparation students.
The Benefits of Affiliate Membership:
- Membership Rates for Workshops and Room Hire
- Up to two entries in the on-line Referral directory (an additional fee is charged).
- Library Access.
- Access to the secure members’ area of the Metanoia website and on-line journals.
NB. The fees published are for academic year 2011/12 they cover the academic year 1st September to 31st August.
The Membership Fee covers the costs of administering the register; the running the Ethics Committee and operation of the Complaints Procedures.
